Wet N Wild Ombre Blushes

Hey Beauties. Sooo... I will start by saying as soon as I saw these blushes I stalked every store till I  finally found them and I am, to be honest, very  disappointed in these. First off they are only available in target stores. These retail for $4.99 each and there are only three colors:        The first one is a lilac color. Its called In A Purple Haze. Looks are deceiving. For me this one went on the faintest. No purple showed up at all just a powdery white. (For reference I am an Mac NC20). I expected a shine but nope, nothing there.     This next one is called  The Princess Daiquiries. It has a orange tint and when applied on the face this one showed up just a teensy bit. You really have to pack it in there. And even after all that packing do not be to disappointed when you find out that it does not stay on there to long.    And finally is Mai Tai Buy You...

Nyx lip lingerie

Hey beauties so I might be one of the few last to try these. I ordered these from the nyx website but have now heard you can find them at ulta and cvs online. I have not yet spotted them at target. These are around $7 each. I ordered the colors push up and embellishment. aren't the names cute? They all are names of things you would find in lingerie or just plain sexy.    My first thoughts on these when I tried them on is they feel like the new maybelline matte lips when applying. They feel like butter. They do not dry quickly so it gives you time to fix any mistakes. The first thirty minutes they feel sticky. The kind of sticky that tugs on your skin. I do not know if I might have applied too many layers with embellishment but the stickiness lasted a little longer with that one. I also found a dupe for embellishment:   (colourpop's ultra matte lip in the color trap.)   Overall these lasted a good while on the lips. They do not dry harsh like s...

Wet N Wild Gel polish

New year, new goodies popping out in drugstores from different brands. I have managed to grab a couple of things that I  will be posting about later on in the blog for those who wish to know how a product worked out for me before buying.  Wet n wild started off this year with more new nail polishes. Gel off course. Home gel manicures seem to really be in right now. I'm not a big fan but I thought I would give them a try. I found the only two colors sitting in a stand at rite aid. They sold very quickly. I was able to grab pardon my peach (soft peach)  and Power outage (black). These polishes look identical to their other newly released polishes except for the fact of course that they are gel and the packaging is black. You can not really see the product inside. They are 1 step gel polishes that do not require the uv light. These were $4.99 but most stands offer $1.00 off coupons. I have mixed opinions on these after trying them out. First o...

January favorites

Hello my beauties. This is my first monthly favorites on the blog and there will hopefully be more to come. A short review of everything and why I loved it will be included. Hope its helpful... So to start off I will begin with my elf primer. This stuff was $6 at target. I had seen on pinterest that it is a close dupe for the smashbox. I would not say it is an exact but it is a great primer for daily use. It has a herbal scent at first but goes away after application. Its great for helping my makeup last a bit longer in the tzone but it does not make my pores completely disappear. Overall great for daily use.   Up next is the fresh sugar lip scrub. I received this as a sample with a Sephora order. I dislike the smell but it is very moisturizing. I just wish it had a better scent. The little grains help plump the lips up a bit and get rid of that dry skin. My lips know they need that badly especially in this cold dry weather. This bb cream by rimmel london is am...

My Brush Routine...easy and affordable.

Hey ladies, so I wanted you make your life a little easier and affordable when it come to the chore of brush cleaning. Ughhh we all hate that one right!? If not you might be that one strange one out of the bunch. Those darn dirty brushes can take up a lot of time. I have tried a couple of things but I found these products I am about to tell you about, to have cut that time in half.   First off the products: Save yourself those $30 you would have spent on the sigma matt for a cheaper matt. (A pot holder matt to be exact). I got mines at Walmart for $3. But if you don't have a Walmart nearby or just can not find one there here is an alternative I found on Amazon  (click the link). This little gem has ridges to help the product come off easier. I have had no fall out from my brushes. None of my brushes have been ruined, and I do not need to use a heavy hand.         I have als...

Too Faced unicorn tears lipstick

My first too faced lipstick. The price always pushes me away me from buying. But this specific lipstick had me frantically searching my local Ulta and Sephora. I got lucky at Ulta. For a $22 lipstick this is beautiful and totally worth it. At first glance you expect it would go on light blue right? Wrong! You can not even tell it will be a metallic lipstick or that you will even get some pink from it.             When I first saw swatches on instagram I knew I needed this baby in my life. I love unique lipsticks. It goes on a light pink tint topped with metallic blue with a little bit of purple shimmer.  The shine on this baby is unexplainable. Its a lipstick that screams futuristic, artistic and girly all at once in my opinion. I love it. You can not feel the shimmer even after it begins to fade. You even forget your wearing a lipstick.             ...

New Maybelline vivid matte liquid lipsticks

Soooo I saw these constantly pop up on my instagram feed and many ladies had mixed reviews. I personally like to try products out myself even if I have seen a few bad reviews. We are all different and what someone might not like or find to not work for them can have the opposite effect with you. I'll start off by letting you ladies know where to find them. I have only found them at target, rite aid and walgreens. I picked these two up at rite aid for $7.99 and got lucky because they were having a BOGO half off. Great time to stock up. These are small and packaging is see through, which I appreciate because you get to see what color exactly you are buying.   The two colors that I picked up were berry boost on the left and nude thrill to the right. Nude thrill applied very well but I did find berry boost a little patchy and more difficult to apply. On the lips they feel like butter. You wont get that harsh dryness like you would with some other lippies. Berry boost had ju...
