January favorites

Hello my beauties. This is my first monthly favorites on the blog and there will hopefully be more to come. A short review of everything and why I loved it will be included. Hope its helpful...

So to start off I will begin with my elf primer. This stuff was $6 at target. I had seen on pinterest that it is a close dupe for the smashbox. I would not say it is an exact but it is a great primer for daily use. It has a herbal scent at first but goes away after application. Its great for helping my makeup last a bit longer in the tzone but it does not make my pores completely disappear. Overall great for daily use.

Up next is the fresh sugar lip scrub. I received this as a sample with a Sephora order. I dislike the smell but it is very moisturizing. I just wish it had a better scent. The little grains help plump the lips up a bit and get rid of that dry skin. My lips know they need that badly especially in this cold dry weather.

This bb cream by rimmel london is amazing. Its affordable as well. I have acne marks so I prefer full coverage. This cream not only works just like a foundation but it also offers many other benefits like moisture for 24hrs, awakens tired skin, primes and conceals, also brightens the skin. And just Like every other rimmel london product this one also has a scent.

Next up is the balms montbalm palette. I ordered this one off hautelook. I love, love this palette. Used it for an entire week and realized there are many combos whether neutral or dramatic that you can create with just these 4 colors. Very versatile and travel friendly.  Below the last item, I posted two looks I created using this palette.

For the next one I have to thank my lovely sis in law. She gave me this eyeliner by avon called super shock. Its a dark black. Goes on smooth and last a very long time. I used it on my waterline but it is also great for smudging under the waterline to help create that smokey look. I loved it. It really stays put and goes on dark black.

You ladies already know about this one if you have read one of my recent post. I recieved this tony moly aqua spray in the Miss tutii subscription. Great for hydrating and giving that illuminating look. It can also work as a setting spray but I found it more helpful in refreshing my makeup.

And finally my favorite polish of the month is from WetnWild. The brush is very helpful for application. First coat goes on very pigmented and they dry fairly quickly. The colors are gorgeous. This one is in the color Undercover. If you do not believe me try it out for yourself. Its amazing. Grab as many colors as well while you are there because believe me you will hope you did. Stay tuned for a review this weekend or next week on the new gel polishes and thanks again beauties for reading my post. Comment down below your thoughts on any of these products. Have a safe and fun weekend.

Too Faced unicorn tears lipstick

My first too faced lipstick. The price always pushes me away me from buying. But this specific lipstick had me frantically searching my local Ulta and Sephora. I got lucky at Ulta. For a $22 lipstick this is beautiful and totally worth it. At first glance you expect it would go on light blue right? Wrong! You can not even tell it will be a metallic lipstick or that you will even get some pink from it.             When I first saw swatches on instagram I knew I needed this baby in my life. I love unique lipsticks. It goes on a light pink tint topped with metallic blue with a little bit of purple shimmer.  The shine on this baby is unexplainable. Its a lipstick that screams futuristic, artistic and girly all at once in my opinion. I love it. You can not feel the shimmer even after it begins to fade. You even forget your wearing a lipstick.             ...
