April Favorites

April Favorites

Happy Wednesday beauties.
It has been a short while since I have done a favorites. I wanted to share a few makeup and skincare faves I have been loving this past month.
I decided to keep it real simple and quick.
So here are my top Four.

Tarte Be a Mermaid and Make Waves Palette

Lets start with my favorite Makeup product, The Tarte mermaid palette.
You will find my full review in the previous blog post here.
I posted swatches and a few looks I did there.
Tarte to me is a beautiful brand from their gold packaging to the neutral pigmented shadows and to their holiday releases, each and every palette always catches my attention. It was no surprise I would not pass on this one. There was a bit of fallout but these shades were very fun to play with.

Covergirl Melting pout Matte Liquid Liptsicks

(Grey matter , covergirl melting pout matte)

I can not wait to share with you all the new blog post I am working on. Theses lovely lipsticks were sent to me by covergirl. Half of the month of April I have spent using and testing these. The only con is the layering required with the darker shades but other then that these are very comfortable to wear. I'm really loving all the shades as well from this collection. The pink and peach shades are perfect for this spring.

Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Crème

You know me and my love for a full coverage finish. The becca ultimate coverage is the perfect foundation to hide my many acne marks and imperfections. So easy to blend and no thickness what so ever. It applied beautifully with a sponge and with a brush, so either will work. It doesn't cling on to my dry skin and with a good primer and setting spray it can definitely last through my day.
Thank you to Octoly for introducing me to this lovely foundation.

Nabila K Honey Shea Body Scrub

My skin care pick for the month of April is the Nabila K honey shea body scrub. Complimentary from Nabila K, I have gotten down to the last little bit of this amazing scrub. The smell is delicious. Don't like honey? Well there is mango, wine, green tea, etc. so many different scents to choose from. I love that it comes in these frosted glass jars that seal shut tightly. A little spoon was included with mine, perfect for scooping out product.
My shower experience with this stuff was amazing. After washing with soap, I would grab a bit of this stuff and scrub my body from shoulders to ankles. It is not as harsh as I would have thought but its definitely rough enough to exfoliate. I walked out of the shower smelling good and with soft skin. It is amazing. You can find it on Amazon or Nabilak Website here.

What were your favorites for the month of April?

Thank you for stopping by to check the blog out today. Have an awesome rest of your Wednesday.

XOXO RUBI

When Jord Watches contacted me to ask If I would love to try one of their watches I just couldn't refuse. Too Faced unicorn tears lipstick

My first too faced lipstick. The price always pushes me away me from buying. But this specific lipstick had me frantically searching my local Ulta and Sephora. I got lucky at Ulta. For a $22 lipstick this is beautiful and totally worth it. At first glance you expect it would go on light blue right? Wrong! You can not even tell it will be a metallic lipstick or that you will even get some pink from it.             When I first saw swatches on instagram I knew I needed this baby in my life. I love unique lipsticks. It goes on a light pink tint topped with metallic blue with a little bit of purple shimmer.  The shine on this baby is unexplainable. Its a lipstick that screams futuristic, artistic and girly all at once in my opinion. I love it. You can not feel the shimmer even after it begins to fade. You even forget your wearing a lipstick.             ...

Covergirl Melting pout Matte

Melting Pout Matte Lipsticks  Happy Friday  Loves, Here is the Review I promised to give you all on the new Covergirl Melting Pout liquid Lipstick s.  I am sorry I have been in a funk lately and busy of course. With so much going on I kind of have not made it a priority to bring you more reviews regularly. So I set a little time today to bring you a review on these lippies that were gifted to me by Covergirl Cosmetics.   Description on their site: Pump up your pout with this Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick. This matte liquid lipstick is infused with nourishing ingredients and glides on easily for a smooth finish. Add high impact, super rich color with a matte finish to your lips. Packaging is a clear tube with a small soft doe foot applicator.  The only problem with this is that you can not cover the entire lips with one swipe.  The applicator picks up little product and the darker shades require an extra layer or two ...
