February 2018 Favorites
February Favorites so late in March I know. A little late but I always think late is better then never. I thought I would make this one short and to the point. I picked out 5 favorite Items I really enjoyed In February.
What I also learned this month is that a creamy foundation is a must in the winter time to give the skin a hydrated look, and Most importantly for me... I found my holy grail 2 in one makeup remover and cleanser.
Check them out:
Lancôme Miel en Mousse Foaming Facewash
This particular makeup remover and cleanser in one contains acacia honey encapsulated in water. One or two pumps of this at night is enough for my face to look clean, brighter, and feel soft. The bottle comes with a pump and when the product is dispensed it seriously has the texture of honey. Its thick and it smells amazing. I always look forward to it at night.
You then apply and rub it in. Watch it melt and begin to turn into a mousse like texture that can get into any area of the face. It instantly warms up which I felt was warmer the first time I used this and over time you really cant feel it anymore. Its really a neat experience. When it comes time to wash it off it turns into a foamy texture and with it comes off all that unwanted makeup.
I used it for about two weeks along with another two products, I have been posting on my instagram, and I have not seen my skin this clear in a long time. It definitely has helped with my acne but it also dries the skin a bit so make sure to use a moisturizer after.
Lancôme translucence silky loose powder
Another lancome product that has made it to my top favorite of February.
The name says it all. It blends into my skin while blurring pores and creating a soft skin look. It is not heavy or thick and it doesn't create any flashback. They do have a few other shades but the one I received thanks to octoly is in the shade 100. It is not illuminating. It is just a simple lovely silky powder I look forward to using when I just want a matte finish.
Amazing Cosmetics Illuminating Primer and Highlighter
(Wearing the product as a primer)
For those days I want a more dewy finish I go for this amazing primer and highlighter in one. It is not a thick cream, it doesn't hydrate or blur my pores but it hella makes my makeup last all day. I hadn't experienced that in a while. If my skin is clear I like to wear it alone. It so beautiful and subtle. If I want to wear it as a highlight I use it more as a base and then apply another powder highlight on top. It is at $35 but make sure to go to their website and but the bundle of this highlighter and illuminating concealer. You get them both for the price of just the highlighter alone.
Description
Go for the glow with our multi-tasking Illuminate Primer + Highlighter. Wear alone for a sheer glow, use as a base to extend the wear of your concealer and foundation or as a highlighter for extra definition.
Kristofer Buckle Triplicity Foundation Stick
I constantly reach for this amazing Cream stick. I normally like my foundations liquid but I have found the cream sticks to be more easier and quicker to use. I apply mines directly to the skin and blend out with my wet n wild foundation brush. I have already talked about this foundation in a previous post so I will not get too much into detail. If you love a full coverage creamy finish then this one is perfection.
Find it at QVC

Colourpop Ultra Satin Liquid Lipstick
Cant help sharing The liquid Lipstick that I have been in love with and used the most for the Month of February. Its very rare for me to use a lipstick more then 5 times in a month since I have piles of lipsticks but If I truly love that shade it will be in rotation more often. I luv Sarahiii and Colourpop could not have created a better shade then this one. Its a lovely warm brown. The formula is very comfortable as all the other satins are. It is still currently available on their website. Just search for the shade 951.
