Ofra Cosmetics

Spotlight on the Ofra Vintage Vineyard trio and Highlight

Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Have you had the chance to try anything from Ofra Cosmetics?

My first Item I ever did try came from Lipmonthly. The liquid Lipstick was in the shade Laguna Beach and it was my most used lipstick for a while. The creamy Soft Formula and lovely Everyday pinky nude shade became an absolute favorite.

I could not help getting my hands on this Vintage Vineyard Lovely trio knowing that I would not be disappointed with the formula. Three lovely berry shades Available for $35. I received mines through Octoly But as always here is my Honest Review:

The three shades are named after the three famous Wine Capitals around the world. There is a rose, cabernet, and plum hue.

Description of shades as Stated on the Ulta website

Bordeaux (blackberry matte)
Tuscany (mauve-red matte)
Cape Town (light plum matte)

Here is the look I created wearing the darkest shade Bordeux. I didn't want nothing overpowering so I went with a soft eye. This lipstick was very comfortable to wear. A bit of transfer does happen and when tis shade begins to fade it leaves a bit of a stain.

(Too see the other two shades on the lips feel free to check out on  my instagram.)

Moving On to this Gorgeous sun Ray styled Highlighter Is Ofra Cosmetics Highlight in the shade Rodeo Drive. A bit of info I found in the Ulta website is that this highlighter was named after the street The owner Ofra, First worked at in a Salon on, When she first arrived from South Africa. (Rodeo Drive is located in California)

This lovely champagne gold highlight is silky to the touch. It picks up enough product with a swipe of the brush. I recommend not layering too much because you will end up with a chalky finish.

I find this shade perfect my skin tone. It doesn't look too yellow on my light skin but it definitely has a pop.

What's your favorite ofra product?

Thanks for checking the blog out. Hope it was helpful.

XOXO Rubi

Too Faced unicorn tears lipstick

My first too faced lipstick. The price always pushes me away me from buying. But this specific lipstick had me frantically searching my local Ulta and Sephora. I got lucky at Ulta. For a $22 lipstick this is beautiful and totally worth it. At first glance you expect it would go on light blue right? Wrong! You can not even tell it will be a metallic lipstick or that you will even get some pink from it.             When I first saw swatches on instagram I knew I needed this baby in my life. I love unique lipsticks. It goes on a light pink tint topped with metallic blue with a little bit of purple shimmer.  The shine on this baby is unexplainable. Its a lipstick that screams futuristic, artistic and girly all at once in my opinion. I love it. You can not feel the shimmer even after it begins to fade. You even forget your wearing a lipstick.             ...

Covergirl Melting pout Matte

Melting Pout Matte Lipsticks  Happy Friday  Loves, Here is the Review I promised to give you all on the new Covergirl Melting Pout liquid Lipstick s.  I am sorry I have been in a funk lately and busy of course. With so much going on I kind of have not made it a priority to bring you more reviews regularly. So I set a little time today to bring you a review on these lippies that were gifted to me by Covergirl Cosmetics.   Description on their site: Pump up your pout with this Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick. This matte liquid lipstick is infused with nourishing ingredients and glides on easily for a smooth finish. Add high impact, super rich color with a matte finish to your lips. Packaging is a clear tube with a small soft doe foot applicator.  The only problem with this is that you can not cover the entire lips with one swipe.  The applicator picks up little product and the darker shades require an extra layer or two ...
