Too Faced Holiday Lip Set

Too Faced Kissletoe Melted Set

Happy Wednesday!
Do you have your holiday list ready? Well you might want to add this one on there if you have not tried any of the melted lipsticks like I have. I could not refuse picking up this set when I saw it at Sephora. Four deluxe size melted lipsticks for just $25. You can find it at Ulta (Special gift with purchase of $35 or more), Macys, or Sephora.

I personally love to try a product out before committing to a full size. That's why I love the holidays. Its the perfect time to grab those affordable sets!

This set included 1 melted matte, latex, a melted chocolate, and their regular melted lippie.
From Left to right:

Melted Matte in the shade Drop Dead Red: Deep Mulberry
Melted Latex in the shade Hopeless Romantic: Warm Nude
Melted Lipstick in the shade Chihuahua: Dusty Mauve
Melted Chocolate lipstick in the shade Chocolate honey: Warm Caramel

I love the soft sponge tip from the regular melted lippies but in order to really see what the shade looks like you would have to swatch it in store. As for the melted matte and latex you can see the actual shade through the packaging. Their curved sponge tip applicator is perfect for precise application.

On the lips I am wearing drop dead red. It is a very sexy deep red. It wasn't streaky as I would have expected but it did accentuate my dry lips. You can see every crack with this formula. As far as wearing time it did pretty good. 4-5 hours with some fading gets two thumbs up from me. The only thing I did not like much is how much this lippie easily transfers. I recommend using a lip liner before application.

My favorite of the bunch is the latex lipstick. I love the formula of this one. A very unique high shine and pigmented formula. It feels comfortable on the lips and looks amazing with a Smokey or bright eye. It's the only formula out of all the melted lippies I would consider grabbing a full size in.

I'm not sure if it's me or you have experienced the same but the regular melted lippies don't really entice me. This one is chocolate honey and it smells delicious. As for the color I expected a little more pay off. I can see only a slight brown. I will admit they are very comfortable to wear. I also love the soft tip for fast application. But......

For the price of $21 each I would rather find something similar at a more affordable price. (Just my opinion.) If you do love these then that is great. They are very moisturizing and offer a hint of color. In the pic above I am wearing the shade Chihuahua.

So I hope you can find this helpful. The set is very affordable. For the price of one full size melted lippie you can get 4 deluxe sized lippies in a beautiful shade range. Perfect for any age.

Thank you for checking out the blog and keep an eye out for the other holiday set that I cant wait to share with you all.

XOXO RUBI

With so much going on I kind of have not made it a priority to bring you more reviews regularly. So I set a little time today to bring you a review on these lippies that were gifted to me by Covergirl Cosmetics.   Description on their site: Pump up your pout with this Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick. This matte liquid lipstick is infused with nourishing ingredients and glides on easily for a smooth finish. Add high impact, super rich color with a matte finish to your lips. Packaging is a clear tube with a small soft doe foot applicator.  The only problem with this is that you can not cover the entire lips with one swipe.  The applicator picks up little product and the darker shades require an extra layer or two ...
