Avon Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness
Hey Loves happy Thursday. Look what lovely pink Package I received! If you Have not yet been aware, this month is Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness month and Avon has dedicated a Catalog of Pink and Purple Items to help raise money for A great cause. Some Quick Deets:
Avon will donate 20% of net profits from breast cancer fundraising items- up to 1 million- to the avon foundation for women to support avon breast cancer crusade programs across the U.S.
Avon will donate 20% of net profits from domestic violence fundraising products - up to $500,000- to the Avon foundation to speak out against Domestic Violence programs across the U.S.
Half of the catalog features pink items and the other half features the purple items.
Avon was very generous in sending me some of the items in the breast Cancer Awareness side.
They sent along a three wick candle, lipstick with lipstick purse, large travel bag, and bangles
Pink Hope Iconic Lipstick Set
This lovely lipstick set features a pink lipstick and small cosmetic case. I thought it was a coin purse, but hey some things can be used for other stuff right? It is a very sturdy bag that holds its shape with the material it consist of. I love the zipper charm.
This set retails for $10.00
The lipstick is part of the their true color collection and it is the official lipstick shade of the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade. The shade is called Pure Pink.
I wore the shade above with a fun mauve and gold eyeshadow look. The color wore as long as a regular lipstick does. Four to Five hours. It was very comfortable. I love the shade. It can be worn as a every day pink or paired with a sexy eye look for a special event.
It is a matte lovely soft pink. The bangles paired with it so well.
Pink Hope Patterned Bangle
Small: $15
Medium: $20
Wide: $30
These lovely bangles feature a peony flower design with different shades of pink. The inside is a gold and you don't have to slide your arm in. They snap shut.
These Lovely bangles feel high quality. They are a little heavy and feel pretty sturdy. These are not your average plastic bangles.
I feel pretty fancy when I put them on. Haha.
Pink Peony Candle
This three wick candle retails for $12 and is a pretty large candle. It smells amazing! I still have not lit it up but it look promising.
Pink Hope Oversized Floral Tote Bag
The Final Item I received is this large tote bag which retails for $30. It features a pink Peony design with a sturdy Leather like base and handles. This will be perfect for traveling or picnics and Summer nights out and about.
The items in this catalog are beautiful and great quality. Avon did an amazing job putting together these items to raise money for such a great cause. I don't personally know anyone with breast cancer but I have seen through media how it can drastically affect someones life. It is important to show we care and that they are not alone.
