September Ipsy
Hey everyone. I finally posted my latest Ipsy on here. Miracle, right?! Its been a while. Usually I don't have time to try everything out but this time I gave it a shot and managed to test out all except for one. I am really excited about this months items. I finally received more then just one full size Item and the bag is just my taste.
Here is What I received:
Gellusion Nail polish
Birch Juice hydrating cream
Teeez cosmetics lipstick
Smashbox Primer
Pacifica coconut blush duo
Pacifica Coconut Blush Duo
If you follow me on Instagram you probably already have seen most of the posts I normally have on here. I recently posted the picture above and received many comments on how great this blush duo is. (I love to hear what my followers love and recommend.)
This Blush duo is from I love Pacifica. Its larger then regular samples so I'm thinking it is the full size?
The shades in the palette are Tender heart (Left) and Beaming on the (right). Tender heart is absolutely stunning in person and both shades sort of have a radiant effect. I did hear one of my followers mention that beaming was a bit dark for her skin so it could even work for a light bronze on Fair skin. I would consider myself in between a light and medium (normally a light beige in foundation) and found that shade to just give me a bit of a dark peachy color on the cheeks. It is one of my favorite shades of blush. They are highly pigmented and they blend out so well. I can see why it is a favorite.
Teeeze Cosmetics Lipstick
How artsy and stunning is this lipstick? My first time ever hearing about this brand and I am so excited I actually received this. This is Teeez cosmetics lipstick in the shade Romantic red. It retails for $22 and there are 16 shades to choose from on their website.
I applaud you Ipsy. This high end lipstick was my favorite in this months Ipsy.
Romantic red reminds me of a red jolly rancher. Mouth watering watermelon shade. Do I sound crazy? or just hungry?
It is a unique red. Infused with mango, this hydrating lipstick last just about as long as any regular lipstick. I didn't like the eye look I went for but it was too late to take it back. I made it work with my lipstick choice.
Gellusion Polish
Sooooo. I didn't get a nail picture up yet but I am working on that. (You can catch it on my Instagram later this week if you are curious.) I did in fact get to wear it. It goes on thick and dries pretty quickly. After the first day of wear I did get some chips. I didn't use a top coat as I like to test my nail polishes
by wearing them alone without any primer or topcoat. Nothing really unique or wowing about this brand. I hate to bash but I have experienced better with cheaper. The shade I received is Virgo.
Edited to mention.: I just checked the website out and it is a two step process. This one is first step and they recommend the top coat for step 2. They retail for $9.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
And for the finale is the Smashbox photo finish primer in radiance. I cant get over how tiny these smashbox samples are. You can get maybe two to three uses out of them. But hey it is a great way to test before you buy.
If you want dewy, glowy skin then this is the one for you. You can use it alone for a quick makeup look or mix it in with your foundation for a glammed up,all up in your face, watch me glow, Slay hunny slay! look. I love anything with that radiance. My skin is dull and dry so you'll catch me wearing this.
So that's it. I love Ipsy and though I have skipped a bag or two this year I feel I have received the opportunity to discover new brands and products. For $10 a month you can sign up to receive your bag and goodies each month. Feel free to use my link if you like. I will leave it here.
Have an amazing rest of your week. Don't forget to subscribe with your email and leave a comment below on your thoughts about any of these items.
XOXO RUBI
