Colourpop hits 5 million

Colourpop reaches 5 million on instagram! You know what that means? Another Milestone and Another limited collection to celebrate. This time they offered 4 products. Each available with a minimum purchase. With every $10, $20, $40, and $60 you could choose a free product. These were my three choices:

Super Shock Cheek:

Here is the Super Shock Cheek Pearlized, called High Five. It is buttery soft goodness, one swipe pigmentation. I couldn't capture it very well on my phone but it is what I would describe (Don't quote me on this) A chrome pink with pink shimmer. See!! I told you my camera didn't capture it well.

Super Shock Shadow:

This is a Super Shock Shadow in ultra glitter finish called Party of Five. This one is going to be very hard to describe but I hope you are entertained with my attempts. I'm kicking myself for not writing down the descriptions once again. So here we go. It looks burgundy in the packaging but once swiped it looks like a sheer dark pink with a shift of green/ blue glitter. It is gorgeous.

You can get a better idea of my failed description attempts with the eye close up above. It blends out well and I am sure if you layer/pat it on you can get a more darker shade.

Lippie Stix:

The final Item I got my hands on is the lippie Stix in the shade Fab Five, and what I believe is the matte formula. Did you take a peek at that packaging? The whole collection is in the burgundy shade. The Lip shade is a perfect match. What I would describe as a wine. Perfect for fall.

I tried to create a look using all three products. The only item I did not like was the Super Shock cheek because it fairly showed up. Other then that both the lippie stix and the Shadow performed really well. I am most excited about the shadow because they tend to last all day and I love the Glitter formulas.

I provided swatches in the picture above. It is no longer available on site so why Am I typing this post and teasing you all with this collection? Well, I have come to realize that Colourpop likes to be sneaky and offer these limited edition products in later dates. So just like the Birthday collection, You get a chance to see swatches and close ups before you decide to buy. Hope It's helpful.
