Loreal Infalliable matte lipstick

Loreal Infalliable matte lip paints

Hey Everyone! Happy Tuesday. It has been quite a while since I reviewed some drugstore products. There so many newly released products I just Couldn't help myself from try out some new lipsticks. These are the Loreal Infalliable matte Lip paints. I am still tempted to go pick up the regular lip paints and metallics from this collection so I'll probably grab those soon and get you guys a review on those too.

The Loreal Infalliable Matte Lip paints come in 6 different shades. (Not much of a shade range) and they retail for around $8. I picked mines up at target. They contain 0.27 fluid ounces of product and have a doe foot applicator.

I would not rely on the packaging for the exact shade that is inside. As you can see comparing the swatches to the product packaging...The swatches are a bit lighter especially festival. Both are very lovely colors. Colors that are trending I assume. Other then just pinks it is nice to see a dusty purple.

The site states that it is a high impact color with full coverage in one stroke, and that it is comfortable. Well it has nice pigmentation for one swipe but I am not to sure on comfortable wear. For the last few days I have been wearing these lipsticks and can say from testing them that they are a bit drying. They do transfer a little and the formula goes from slightly sticky to semi matte then completely matte. After 4 hours of wear both shades began to fade from the center leaving my lips looking lined, but not the pretty pout lined. It is the type of lined that looks like you just ate and forgot to wipe off the rest of the lipstick.

Other than that I really did love the colors. Especially festival. I am wearing that one right now. The tubes are really nice too. Would I consider buying more from this line? Most likely no. These were the only two shades and I believe a darker red , that caught my attention. If they all are likely to be this drying I would not like to spend another $8 on each. But!! I am tempted to see how the other two formulas are. They look more like satin finishes.

Thanks again. I hope you found this post helpful. Let me know what your opinions are on these lippies in the comments below. Hope you have an amazing rest of your day.

xoxo Ruby

This matte liquid lipstick is infused with nourishing ingredients and glides on easily for a smooth finish. Add high impact, super rich color with a matte finish to your lips. Packaging is a clear tube with a small soft doe foot applicator.  The only problem with this is that you can not cover the entire lips with one swipe.  The applicator picks up little product and the darker shades require an extra layer or two ...
