August My Sweet Sparkle



My! My! How has this month flown by so quickly? Here's a quick showcasing of this months My Sweet Sparkle.  This box is still available to purchase till the last day of August. As always they have three different ways to subscribe, free international shipping, and their products together have a value over $40.


This months lovely theme is Copper chic. For the first time they sent out a mask. I didn't get a picture for the blog post, but the mask is by shield life and it is their Whitening Ion Mask. Retails  for $5. I have not yet used it but I will post it once I do on my Instagram. (The handle is in the Home Page. )

A (New to me) brand that offers quality product at an affordable price. This duo is the perfect matte nude.  My favorite from this months box.

Swatches and names from left to right:

Lipliner: Natural
Lipstick: Ava


Both the liner and lipstick are the exact same color. I think having a slightly darker liner to pair with this lipstick, would have made this Duo a little more amazing.


But even then!...This shade is lovely. It didn't wash me out and the formula doesn't dry out or crust into a nasty white like most matte nudes do in the inner corners of the lips. I'm really interested in grabbing a few more colors.

JCat Beauty Blinkle Eyeshadow



Binkle eyeshadow $5

This lovely shimmery shadow can be applied dry, or wet for a more intense shade. 5 of these shades are available for purchase on the Sweet Sparkle website. (You don't have to be a subscriber to purchase from their store) They are slightly larger then regular pressed shadow pans, and they feel really soft to the touch.


The shade I received is Honey Amber described as a copper color. The shimmer is subtle and it does not contain large glitter. For the best application I used my fingers to apply. It wore really well through the day. By the end of the night the color had slightly faded but a lovely fade that made it look as if I had layered a matte orange with light shimmer. Does that makes sense? 

Kokie Proffesional. Blush up Palette




Blush Up Palette in the shade blushing. This $9 palette offers three lovely large blushes in warm shades. The first shade is matte and the two shades to the right have a subtle glow like effect. Again Kokie Proffesional creates another great quality product. I can not deny my excitement when I see Kokie products in this subscription. The blushes feel soft to the touch and don't kick up powder at all. A light dip of the brush you get enough pigment to swipe on both cheeks. 

Glam 21. Massing Mascara



The final product and the most expensive one in this months box is the Glam 21 Massing Mascara. $15. This is another new to me brand. Created in South Korea, this skinny mascara features a skinny wand  too. Great for coating the bottom lashes. It gave my upper lashes length in just two easy swipes. They held up nicely through the day and when it came time to washing off my makeup I did not have to deal with panda eyes.




As always, here's my look created using all the products in this months My sweet sparkle. The only eyeshadow I used on my eyelids is the blinkle eyeshadow. Looks copper on the edges but where the light hits you get to see the lovely gold shimmer shine through.

Too Faced unicorn tears lipstick

      My first too faced lipstick. The price always pushes me away me from buying. But this specific lipstick had me frantically searching my local Ulta and Sephora. I got lucky at Ulta. For a $22 lipstick this is beautiful and totally worth it. At first glance you expect it would go on light blue right? Wrong! You can not even tell it will be a metallic lipstick or that you will even get some pink from it.             When I first saw swatches on instagram I knew I needed this baby in my life. I love unique lipsticks. It goes on a light pink tint topped with metallic blue with a little bit of purple shimmer.  The shine on this baby is unexplainable. Its a lipstick that screams futuristic, artistic and girly all at once in my opinion. I love it. You can not feel the shimmer even after it begins to fade. Melting Pout Matte Lipsticks  Happy Friday  Loves, Here is the Review I promised to give you all on the new Covergirl Melting Pout liquid Lipstick s.  I am sorry I have been in a funk lately and busy of course.
