My Sweet Sparkle May Box
So grateful for another amazing box I have been given the chance to try. My Sweet Sparkle is always on top of their game and this months box was another hit. A box totaling up to $80 for just $24.99. And incase you didn't read my last post about them, they have free worldwide shipping and offer only full size products. I will leave the link here. It is also not to late to grab this box. You have till the end of this month.
This months theme is Berry Crush. I received 5 full size items. No suprises here. Everyone will receive the same items and brands but they do send out one or two different shades.
My Favorite product this month is the Hikari Cosmetics eyeshadow quad called emma. It contains 3 lovely matte shades and one shimmer. They are buildable and blend out beautifully. I didn't have a hassle doing it either.
The swatches do it no justice. It is very lovely in person. I used the shimmer shade in the inner part of my lid, the lightest brown blended out over the crease, the berry shade in the outer corner of my eyelid and to add dimension I used the dark brown over the berry shade. You can wear it many other ways if you prefer.
The most priciest item in this months box is the doucce cosmetics Punk Volumizer mascara. This mascara retails for $24. A bit pricey for me but packaging feels high end and the wand itself is pretty large. This mascara provides really nice volume and I do find myself reaching for it a lot. It coats my lashes really nice and makes them look full. They can almost pass off as falsies.
Another Manna Kadar product this month and though I say another it doesn't mean I am not excited. Manna Kadar offers some amazing products. They are really great quality. This one is called the three in one blush, highlighter, and eyeshadow. Yes you heard it right. 3 in 1 and that's why this baby retails for $19.
It's not a large pan but it feels very soft to the touch. You can use it with a wet brush to give you a more foiled look on the lid. It also looks so lovely on the inner corners and topped over a blush.
The final two lovely items in the box is the Starlooks ultra long wear liquid lipstick in the shade royalty ($19) and the kokie professional velvet smooth lipliner in the shade berry plum ($6).
They put together a lovely pair. The lip liner was very close in color to the liquid lipstick. It went on smoothly and helped line the lips well.
The Starlooks liquid lipstick on the other hand did feel a bit sticky. It dried down to a satin finish but the stickiness made it a bit uncomfortable. The shade is absolutely gorgeous it even adds a bit of dimension to the lips. Unless I really need to wear this exact shade, I am sure I will not be reaching for this one often.
As for the final touch to my review I love to put a look together using all the items I receive from their monthly box. I went for a night out look in the picture shown above. I also have a short video up on my Instagram of me creating this look if you would like to check it out. You can find my Instagram page by clicking the Instagram icon on the home page of this blog. Thank you all for checking out my post for tonight. If you have any questions about this subscription feel free to leave them in the comments. Have a lovely rest of your week.
xoxo Ruby
