Jesse's Girl Fluid Shadows
Its been a while now that I have been wanting to get this post up for you all. I was sent this lovely package of their new product from the brand Jesse's girl. First off I'm so excited to be a part of their product review program because they were one of the first brands I purchased when I was starting to get into makeup. If you haven't already checked out their loose pigments... you are missing out. They are shimmery goodness.
These are there new Fluid eyeshadows and they are currently available on their website (link here), at rite aid, and certain products and shades on amazon. As you already could tell they are liquid shadows with a brush type applicator. All shades are metallic. 12 shades to be specific and the range of colors are lovely.
Not the best swatches above because I did try to spread out the product so that you could get a more clearer picture of the shade. The first shade on the left was a bit clumpy but the rest performed well. They did even better when applied onto the lid.
From top to bottom
(Left side)
My blue heaven: Metallic sky blue
Purple Haze: Deep metallic purple
Rose bronze: Metallic red with shifts of bronze
Twilight: Metallic Lilac
Penny Arcade: Classic metallic copper
Snowflake: Icy Metallic White
(Right Side)
Midnight Sky: Dark metallic Navy with specks of blue glitter
Enchanted Forest: mossy metallic green
Royal Orchid: intense metallic orchid
Destiny: light Metallic Bronze
Gold Dust: Metallic Yellow gold
Meadow: Light Metallic Sage green
The fluid shadows can be used on the whole lid or as an eyeliner. I always have a hard time with eyeliner so I preferred to use these as an eyeshadow. I created a few looks below.
I wore snowflake above. I recommend that after applying you leave your lids closed for a few seconds to ensure they dry down and you don't end up with transfer anywhere else on the lid. They dry almost instantly and do last almost all day with minor crumbling. These are perfect for both beginners and makeup pros. I would consider myself a beginner still and I found these to be very helpful. With just a swipe you get even color. No extra primers or glitter glue needed.
I used royal orchid for the look above. the matte shade is from another brand but then I used a little of the fluid eyeshadow to add a little glam to the look.
I used purple haze for the look above. It was one of my favorites from the bunch. No creasing and they make any look go from dull to glam.
The two looks above were created using a matte transitional eyeshadow and then I used the fluid shadow in the shade destiny. These are so pigmented that you do not even need to use a base to help brighten them up. They do so well on their own.
Thanks babes for checking out the blog today. I hope It was helpful enough and
if you grabbed any shades let me know down below in the comments. Have an amazing weekend. š
