Daval beauty



Hey loves just checking in. Hope you are having a lovely day. Today I am throwing some sweetness your way with a new brand to introduce. Daval beauty. An indie brand that features a range of matte Liquid lipsticks. There is a variety of shades they sell and you should check out. I'll leave the link here .



A bit of info. They are located in Canada but boy their shipping is quick. Quicker then some local companies I have purchased from. They are an indie brand based in Halifax, nova scotia. Their liquid lipsticks are vegetarian, cruelty free, paraben free and talc free and there are currently 23 shades to choose from. Price is 14.17 each.  



They were so kind to send me three lovely shades to try out. Rye, gwendolyn and valacious. I could not find the description of each shade so I will do my best to describe them. As for their packaging they come in clear tubes that are true to color and applicators are doe type. 

Valacious did swatch a bit patchy. Gwendolyn is a lovely color on the arm but on the lips is even Sexier. As for rye. That lovely orange is so bright and pigmented. 


I will start off with my most favorite, Gwendolyn. I would describe it as a greyish lilac. Soft but edgy. It dries instantly but these are not transfer proof. They do transfer a little. They have a scent but I am not sure how to describe it.





Valacious took an extra layer or two to get an even color but I still enjoyed this color. The perfect eggplant shade. It's very sexy. They do not dry down to a harsh  matte instead I would call them a velvety satin type of finis. They are very comfortable to wear.




As for the final shade rye, I can't wait to wear it all year round. I would describe it as a pumpkin type orange.  It's a very fun color. It feels very comfortable on the lips. Do make sure that you mess with your applicator in the tube to get the liquid to come out evenly oh and exfoliate to get your favorite shades to look amazing on your lips. Too Faced unicorn tears lipstick

      My first too faced lipstick. The price always pushes me away me from buying. But this specific lipstick had me frantically searching my local Ulta and Sephora. I got lucky at Ulta. For a $22 lipstick this is beautiful and totally worth it. At first glance you expect it would go on light blue right? Wrong! You can not even tell it will be a metallic lipstick or that you will even get some pink from it.             When I first saw swatches on instagram I knew I needed this baby in my life.
