Marc Jacobs Liner and New Liquid Lipstick



Hey loves I am hoping everyone had a fun time ringing in the new year. Now is the time to start fresh, leave the past behind and of course look good. I sure will be doing that with this lovely set I was sent by influenster free for testing and reviewing purposes. My first ever full size Marc Jacobs products and I couldn't be happier.



Influenster and Marc Jacobs sent along a long wear Lip liner in the shade Prim Rose $24 and Marc Jacobs new Le Marc liquid Lip Crème in the shade Slow burn $28. A bit pricey in my opinion but the formula completely changes your mind. This lip liner Is a gel so it glides on smoothly. It makes it easy to define and shape the lips. It can even be worn alone with a lip gloss on top. There are 8 shades available in total on the Sephora website. As for the liquid lip crème, well.... I have not yet tried such a creamy comfortable satin lip before. The lip liner keeps it in place and is said to last up to eight hours. Honestly I would say it lasted me a total of five hours if I did not have a messy lunch. It is a hydrating liquid lipstick that gives the appearance of plumped lips. there are 6 shades available and they are currently in the nude range.


Above are the swatches of the two products I received from Influenster. The swatch on the left is the long wear Lip Liner in the shade Prim Rose, described as a cocoa spice shade. The swatch on the right is the Le Marc liquid lipstick crème in the shade slow burn, described as a creamy nude rose.



Close up of the both the lip liner and liquid lipstick on my lips. I used the lip liner to line and fill in the edges of my lips. I then applied the liquid lipstick on the top. I'm so happy with the final result. Its very comfortable on the lips and gave the appearance of a fuller lip. I would definitely wear this shade as an everyday lip look or even out on date night paired with a smoky eye.


The color is gorgeous and the formula (especially the liquid lipstick) has changed my mind. Price wise, I do not like to spend a lot on a product unless I really love it and rates a 5 in all three categories: formula, packaging, and long wear. This product has won me over and I might have to pick up a shade or two next time I am at Sephora.
