Lipp Beautifully

Hey loves. I'm bringing you today my last post of the year 2016. This year has brought me many lovely experiences and opened the door to huge opportunities. One of my favorites being the chance to work with and try out new brands. Lipp Beautifully gave me the chance to try out two of their customized lipsticks. This brand is so unique in that you get to fully customize your lipsticks. The packaging, lip color, and finish. These would make great gifts or an awesome product for the picky buyer. (Not saying that being picky is a bad thing.) They are made here in the USA and hand poured by trained mixologists. They have so many shades available so go have a look when you can. Each lipstick retails for $20, no matter what finish or packaging you would like. The two shades I chose were Zone, a rustic red, and maritime, a carrot orange. I chose zone as a satin finish with a white and gold packaging. As for Maritime I chose a matte finish with a matte black packaging. As for the packaging it does not feel high end, but the lipstick itself does. And that's all that matters right? They have a lovely scent and they are very opague.

My favorite of the two has to be zone. It is the most unique red I have ever tried. I think this color would look amazing on all skin tones. The formula is very comfortable and last as long as a regular lipstick would. (Average 5 hours). It has a slight shine so it gave my lips a lovely full look. I definitely recommend you try this formula and shade. I would buy it over and over again.

Above I am wearing Maritime, the second shade I chose. This shade was a little brighter then expected. I believe maybe using a darker liner underneath would make this shade more wearable with any look. I personally love it for the coming summer and fall weather. Its a very unique orange.

This month they sent out a ginger spice lip scrub. It smells so delicious and works amazing at exfoliating the lips. In this picture I also included one of the lip shades closer up. You receive enough product to try the shade out for a few days to help you decide whether you would want to purchase the full size or not.

Above are the three shades I received. From left to right is:

Pirate: A true plum

Objection : A nectarine coral

Minimum: Deep mauve pink

I am wearing Pirate on the lips in the photo above. This was sent as the trending shade and I believe everyone receives the same trending shade color. This color was very lovely and bright. And the formula was very hydrating too. I am a huge fan of purples so it was nice to see this shade as the trending shade.

Above I am wearing minimum. Its described as a deep mauve pink but I personally felt it was a lovely nude pink on me. This was sent as a everyday shade. And yes it is that lovely that I would consider it my everyday nude pink. I paired it with a neutral eye shadow look to give off a soft glam. I will say though this nude did crease at the corners of my lips. I will probably try a lip liner underneath next time to help it stay in place.

And the final shade is objection which I would consider a pink coral. Its very bright and it was a bit hard choosing what eyeshadow to wear with this one. It was sent to me as a going out shade and I did find it perfect for that but I would save it for a summer night. Not a winter night type of color for me.
