June Lip Monthly
Hey ladies a little late but here is my June Lip monthly bag. Thanks once again to the lipmonthly team for sending this bag for testing and reviewing purposes. Any ways I will get straight to it. Last month I received 4 full six products worth up to $70. One of those being a highlighter. I received a Measurable Difference Lip stain, A peony cosmetics Highlight, A jelly pong pong lip butter, and a Be a bombshell cheek and lip in the shade. I did not have names for all but I did manage to look up more information so that you may find the product easier.
(Jelly pong pong Lip butter in the shade balloons)
I will begin with my most favorite being the Jelly Pong Pong Lip butter. This one did not have a name but on the website It is named balloon. The packaging is so adorable. A yellow with colored balloons. How fun and cute. I sat it right on my vanity because it is just so pretty to look at. This one is $18.95 on their website. A bit pricey if you ask me. It is described as a "brown spice" color with red used as a base so it will not wash you out. It is also described as a kylie color. It definitely is very stunning. At first when I applied it, it sank into my lines but like some mac lipsticks I gave it a while to settle in and it looked flawless. You don't need to wait a whole lot. I guess you just have to give it a little time to settle with the heat of the lips. This lipstick was very hydrating.
(Measurable difference lip crayon)
The second item I loved the most was measurable difference lip color stick which did not have a name but I would describe as a cherry red tint. this one is sold on their website in a set of three for around $30. I must say I am not really a huge fan of tint lip products but I am really loving this one. one layer gives you a sheer color but three layers gives you the beautiful color you see in the picture above. It is very comfortable on the lips. It did not get on my teeth or get around my lips. It almost feels as a satin with a little extra gloss. Once it begins to fade you are left with a red tint that washes off without a hassle. I seriously recommend checking out this lip product. Its great.
(Bea a bombshell lip, cheek, and eye stick in the shade sweetness)
As for the beauty bombshell lips, eyes, and cheek stick. I received the shade sweetness which is described as a warm pinky taupe. It is a three in one product which makes it perfect for travelling. They have plenty more shades on their website and they all retail for $16. I am still debating on weather I do like it or not. The color worked great on my lips but it did fade quickly. On the cheeks it did not show up as a I would have a imagined. It was a little hard to blend out. It faded quickly as well. I still have yet to try it on my eyes but I am hoping it does better on there.
(Swatches of all products. Pink glow is second from the top)
And my final product I have already given away to be honest is peony cosmetics pink glow luminizing stick. The packaging is so adorable. A lot of art and thought goes into it but honestly not so much in the way the product works. When swatched it is a beautiful pink shimmer. It is described on their site as a hybrid pink, gold. This is on their site as well for $22. It is 91% natural, cruelty free and vegan. So about my thoughts I just could not get it to work on my cheekbones. I'm a light color and it just would not show up. I tried rubbing it in with my fingers and nope, NOTHING. So I passed it on to my lovely sister who will hopefully find use in it as a eye shadow. Which I am not sure if it did work out for her like that but I was really hoping this one would have been great.
Anyways this bag in my opinion I would rate a 3 out of 5. Two products were fails and the other two amazing. But it happens. You cant always be completely satisfied. I got the chance to try new products and find new lovely shades of color to play with. So again ladies or men I leave you my code "JANET55" to get 55% of your first bag making it around $6 and the link here. Thanks for reading and checking out the blog. Have a lovely weekend
