April lip monthly

April Lip Monthly
Hey ladies. I have so much going on and it being the last week of spring semester, I am trying to multitask and get some reviews  done. This lasts months lip monthly was amazing. New products to try out and a lovely bag to go along. The product colors remind me of spring. A lovely range of colors to try. Again for those that don't know you can subscribe to lipmonthly for $12 a month. I'll leave the link here.

This month I recieved four lovely products as shown above. I'll start of with my favorite down to the least favorite.

Glamour dolls lip gloss in wild flower.
This is a very lovely color swatched. A bit scary for those of us who don't like a bright orange. No fear! When applied this one went on a light coral. A beautiful spring and summer lip gloss. It is very light and no its not slippery or sticky. It doesn't quite feel like a lipstick either. I can't describe it but believe me I am impressed by how unique the formula is. This one retails for $1.99. Very inexpensive and feels like  a high end product. It will fade after eating, but what gloss doesn't overall I give this one 5 stars and so worth my $12.

Pencil me in eyeliner.
I recieved the eyeliner in the  color denim. I was thrown off because the pencil packaging made me think it would end up swatch in a grey color but actually swatched it looks like a light blue, but on the eyes (waterline to be specific) it looks a bit grayish blue. It held on for a long time and it goes on really smoothly. I'm very impressed with that. It's my second pencil me in eyeliner I have recieved in my subscriptions. I love them. This one retails for $6.99. It's a very large pencil so you are going to get your moneys worth. I would compare the size to the wet n wild  large eyeliners if anyone has ever tried those.

Starlooks gloss in cuddle
This gloss looks like a bronze shimmer gloss swatched but again on the lips no shimmer showed up. It actually went on like a plain gloss. A bit sticky but it'll work great as a topper for a matte lipstick. I'm a little dissapointed in this one cause I was hoping for a bronze shimmer to show. I did  in fact like it as a topper. As in the pic above shows, I used over Trestique's matte lippies. It gave the look a beautiful glossy coat and did not shift the color I used underneath. It almost felt as if it sealed the color in. This one was tiny in size so I am not sure if the actual product is that small. The price listed on Lip monthly's card was $9.

Hikari lipstick in peony
This one is a gorgeous pink. Very beautiful swatched but once again on the lips it took a bit of layering to get the perfect pink color you see. Even then it sunk into my fine lines and didn't last for too long. I was getting antsy to just wipe it off the moment I was done layering but I held through just to see the lasting effect. I'm so dissapointed in this one because it was the one I was most excited for. I've recieved a gloss and blush and was amazed with the quality. I expected the same with the lipstick. This one was passed on to my lovely sister so hopefully she'll be able to get it to work for her.

I'll leave below the card with the prices and some information. Thanks ladies for checking my blog out today. Have a lovely week.

When Jord Watches contacted me to ask If I would love to try one of their watches I just couldn't refuse. Too Faced unicorn tears lipstick

My first too faced lipstick. The price always pushes me away me from buying. But this specific lipstick had me frantically searching my local Ulta and Sephora. I got lucky at Ulta. For a $22 lipstick this is beautiful and totally worth it. At first glance you expect it would go on light blue right? Wrong! You can not even tell it will be a metallic lipstick or that you will even get some pink from it.             When I first saw swatches on instagram I knew I needed this baby in my life. I love unique lipsticks. It goes on a light pink tint topped with metallic blue with a little bit of purple shimmer.  The shine on this baby is unexplainable. Its a lipstick that screams futuristic, artistic and girly all at once in my opinion. I love it. You can not feel the shimmer even after it begins to fade. You even forget your wearing a lipstick.             ...

Melting Pout Matte Lipsticks  Happy Friday  Loves, Here is the Review I promised to give you all on the new Covergirl Melting Pout liquid Lipstick s.  I am sorry I have been in a funk lately and busy of course. With so much going on I kind of have not made it a priority to bring you more reviews regularly. So I set a little time today to bring you a review on these lippies that were gifted to me by Covergirl Cosmetics.   Description on their site: Pump up your pout with this Melting Pout Liquid Lipstick. This matte liquid lipstick is infused with nourishing ingredients and glides on easily for a smooth finish. Add high impact, super rich color with a matte finish to your lips. Packaging is a clear tube with a small soft doe foot applicator.  The only problem with this is that you can not cover the entire lips with one swipe.  The applicator picks up little product and the darker shades require an extra layer or two ...
